It was a magical time of day for her and she continued ...view moreCarita Lewis was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland. She grew to love stories when her mother told them to her at bedtime. It was a magical time of day for her and she continued to read stories of adventure, science fiction and many others that caught her attention as she grew up. In fact, the first story that she remembers reading that made a big impression on her was Robinson Crusoe.
Carita currently lives in Florida where she puts her imagination to work to write this fabulous story of fantasy. She loves to work with children of all ages and finds them very easy to work with especially when you care about them. In fact, when her son was young, she enjoyed animating their stuffed animals for him at bedtime which would send him into gales of laughter.
She started writing ten years ago and wrote about the wonderful world of the mombos in Magio Kingdom. The whole idea of their world came to her and she felt the strong need to share this world with the children who love fantasies.
Another skill that she has is painting, and much of her artwork depict fantasy scenes. The cover of Magio Kingdom was one of her own artwork.
She also loves to exercise as well as continue to read in her spare time. Her favorite authors are James Patterson and Lewis Carroll.view less
