My family is most important in my life, second only to Jesus. I have been married to my wife Meghan for over 5 years and we have two beautiful and talented young children together.
By my nature I am a creative person so I am always looking for some way to express that creativity. Most of the time that outlet comes by way of my wife wanting me to do some project for the kids or the house. Writing is another such outlet and I find great joy in expressing my thoughts through the pen and paper.
As a management professional with over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry I have been able to learn from all of the latest lean productivity (Six Sigma) tools and processes. I have been able to adapt these tools and processes to my daily life and have seen significant improvement in my productivity and career advancement. I am constantly looking for ways to improve upon myself and how I do things so I may be more productive.
As a result, I started exploring the personal development genre and my wheels started spinning. Unfortunately, nothing I was reading and doing was really sticking so, I decided to write down what I believed to be the key principles I needed to live by on a daily basis in order to be successful in whatever I did. I posted that list on my computer and each day I stared at it, the more I felt I needed to share those principles with other people because they too could benefit from focusing their energy in these key areas. That’s when the vision for my first book, Building Success from the Ground Up started and ultimately this blog.
I am truly grateful for everything I have been blessed with in life and I hope you find my works to be beneficial and inspiring.view less
