Her focus in writing is in the film industry and her passion is writing fantasy, and science fiction dramas for adults and young adults. In daily life her focus is her daughter and family, making sure to spend her free time with them.
Kayla started writing poetry at age six. Her first publication was in the school paper in the first grade. She feels writing was the only outlet to express her emotions growing up. As she got older, she learned she could understand others and their emotions as well through reading.
She published her first book through Smashwords called, Expectations, which is a collection of short stories and available for download here. She will have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment in the spring of 2017. While in school she focused on developing a skill for film to reach the largest audience with her stories. She plans on releasing her first novel fall 2018 and is working on her first script.view less
