He recently decided to visit hos home town via writing stories of the coal town era. There are five in this series. Hew lives with his wife of 57 years and a three-year-old and a two-year-old. His current work is a trip into white coal. most know of black and brown coal. Mr. Payne is an expert in the white coal arena.
