As a nanny/domestic in England I regularly attended free night school.Immigrating to Canada in 1954, I founded my family, made a living at minimum wage most of my life but never stopped studying. I invested wisely, learnt Spanish when I gave 2 years of my life working with the poor children of South America, teaching them everything I knew in arts, crafts and story writing. It is now, finally, having reached old age, that I find time to fulfill my dream of becoming a published author. It was my privilege to be exposed to so many children's ways of thinking that I feel competent in writing just for them. I also feel confident that my readers will enjoy giving me in-put, new ideas on how to improve my story telling. I welcome their suggestions since this is an on going series. Thank you all! geny heywoodview less
