Gene is currently director and pastor of the Activate School of Leadership in Pensacola, Florida, a leadership academy dedicated to training up missional disciples and leaders for the future. He and his wife Deborah each lost their spouses to cancer after more than thirty years of marriage. Between them there are fourteen children and sixteen grandchildren. He is a fisherman first for men and secondly for fish.view less
