He studied economics in the University of Cambridge from 1975 to 1980. After the award of doctorate in 1980, he was appointed to the economist’s position at the International Monetary Fund, where he has worked since then. As an avid traveler, he has visited over a hundred countries. He lives near Washington D.C. with his wife while his two daughters live in New York and Chicago.view less
