She’s always had one foot in the past and loves to write fiction set in the nineteenth century, drawing on Victorian traditions of mystery, melodrama, and hauntings. She’s passionate about promoting quality indie publishing and great historical fiction, and writes feature articles for the Historical Novel Society, of which she’s an active member. She also participates in the work of the Alliance of Independent Authors and the 10-Minute Novelists, and was the originator of the Ethical Author Code and the 365K Challenge.view less
