He served four years i...view moreEarnest Brant Mercer BPS MBA Pace University of N.Y. Upon graduation from Auburndale (FL) High School, Mercer enlisted in the U. S. Navy at the outset of the Korean Conflict. He served four years in a branch of naval intelligence; two of which were in Japan 1951-1953. He spent thirty years with IBM Corporation, serving in Japan, Hong Kong, South Africa as well as in the U.S.A.
Upon retirement, he returned to his home town where he was Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce before performing consulting work for five years for American companies in Asia, South Africa, and the Czech Republic. He taught five years in the Graduate School of Business, Webber International University. He was conferred an honorary Doctor of Business Administration for his work there. He was elected to his high school Hall of Fame in 2010.view less
