Her short story collection, The Invention of Flight, received the 1983 Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction. Her collection of short fiction In the House of Blue Lights won the Richard Sullivan Prize and was listed as a Notable Book by the Chicago Tribune. Her stories have appeared in many anthologies including the Pushcart Prize anthology. Neville teaches writing at Butler University and in the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers.view less
