In 1999 and 2000, he has been Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He has also been Power Systems and Critical Infrastructure Senior Scientist at the Energy Systems, Security and Market Unit of the Institute for Energy and Transport of the Joint Research Center in Petten, the Netherlands, from 2012 to 2014. He has coauthored more than 150 publications and book chapters on various topics related to the power systems analysis and modeling.view less
