She graduated from the Colegio Liceo Benalcazar in Cali, Colombia. Later, she studied music composition, harpsichord, Spanish dances and animation at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Northeastern University with the “Spanish Ensemble”, and Columbia College in Chicago.
She is married and a mother who lives with her family in Spokane, Washington.
