Robert "Capt. Bob" BillmanFor over twenty years, Robert Billman was deeply involved in Christian ministry work, having become "Born Again" at the age of twenty-two, while married to his first wife. Because of his intense study of the Bible, he was asked to preach his first sermon a year later.Three years after his conversion, he discovered that his wife had been cheating on him for almost that length of time and they were divorced. For nearly eleven months, disappointed with God, he backslid from the church and had casual sex with thirty five women, including two steady girlfriends. He then moved from Florida to Dallas, Texas. He got a job at a local television station, as he had been working as a director at a station in Panama City, Florida,. He began directing the televised Sunday morning worship service of the First Baptist Church of Dallas. There he met his soon-to-be second wife. A few months after getting married, he quit work at the station to volunteer at a new Christian television station in Dallas. It was a work of love, as they never paid him. He sought employment selling hearing aids, to provide for his family, yet be able to spend time working "for God" for free. The president of the station, Rev. Warren Litzman, turned out to be corrupt and was cheating on his wife with a secretary. He also mismanaged the station and it went off the air.Six months later, Rev. Pat Robertson, who had started a Christian television network, bought a station in Dallas. Robert tried to get a job at the station but was turned down by Rev. Robertson. "God" had told him in a dream to clean house of the evil from the previous station. He refused to hire anyone who had worked there, as they were tainted by the sins of Rev. Litzman.Greatly disappointed, Robert went to work at a local Sears store. His work there was short-lived, however, as his wife had contacted a television minister, named Bob Munford, living in Florida, to ask about a dream that she had. In the conversation, she found out that Rev. Mumford was building a Christian television station in the Miami area and needed production staff. Subsequently, Robert and family (by now, there were two daughters) moved to Florida, where he worked as a director at the station. It was a bad experience, also. The station folded after a year, again due to mismanagement. There were also problems in Rev. Mumford's church which affected Robert and his family negatively.Robert was contacted by Bob Anderson from the Rex Humbard television ministry in Akron Ohio. Robert was hired to work there as one of the program directors. After a year, he was fired for being too "preachy" to the other production personnel, who were mostly "unsaved." And Rex was planning to retire shortly anyway. He then went to work at a new Christian station in Chicago. The president of the station, Rev. Owen Carr, had him fired after a year for having radical Christians as guests on the evening talk show. Robert then started his own Christian production company. A couple of years later, he was ordained into the Assembly of God denomination. He occasionally preached sermonettes at the churches that he produced programs for. Many of the churches he worked with owed him money, stole his equipment or treated him and his family in an un-Christian manner. He was starting to get disillusioned with Christians. He felt led of God to move the family (by now, three daughters) to California. Things went from bad to worse. He was ripped off by a Christian partner, had promises of work broken, had a preacher "stab him in the back" and lost a television station license due to unscrupulous Christians. He quit the church and turned to sex. Something he could rely on and believe in. He got divorced, after taking his wife into the swinging lifestyle, and then accidentally became a porn star a year later, at the age of 46. He has been in over two hundred porn movies, as well as shot and edited hundreds more.view less
