He has taught at Plymouth University since 1997 on various undergraduate modules ranging from Contemporary History and International Relations, to Foreign Policy and Maritime Power. His current teaching at the University is on Contemporary Maritime Power. Additionally he continues to act as a visiting lecturer to Royal Navy vessels and shore establishments as well as having delivered papers at a number of seminars and conferences.view less
