He found that his experience and level of education was very limited for the challenge he was facing in the workplace. Carl became a member of the building trades where he enrolled in school as a Prentiss, and he then begun a three-year Prentiss Program where he was awarded a certificate from the National Iron Workers Employers Training Program. In 1984, Carl enrolled at Temple Baptist Bible Institute where he earned an associate of ministerial studies degree. After a year out of school, Carl went back to college at International Apostolic College of Grace and Truth where he earned a bachelor's degree in Christian education and a master's degree in theology. Carl went back to school in 1984, part-time, and finished his education in 1992. In 1991, Carl was led by the Lord to open the doors to Grace Temple Church where he is the pastor.view less
