With its wide open spaces and freedom to explore, it sparked her imagination at an early age. Writing has been something she had always wanted to do but there was never a quiet time with nine siblings. When she became a grandmother she put down the story books and began telling her own stories to her grandchildren. She lives in Virginia, has two sons and five grandchildren. She also loves writing poetry, children's songs and hybridizes tall bearded iris.view less
