The author Jesper Sehested is dyslexic.He started his life with having difficult to speak, but he didn't feel different, alone or stupid as he went to daycare with other children t...view moreThe author Jesper Sehested is dyslexic.He started his life with having difficult to speak, but he didn't feel different, alone or stupid as he went to daycare with other children that also found it difficult to speak.But when he went to school, where other children could read and spell, he started feeling like something was wrong with him.School was the worst thing Jesper knew, and he couldn't get out of there quickly enough.But during his last year in school everything changed.Jesper didn't suddenly start to read and spell like his classmates. It was his view of himself, his dyslexia and what he was capable of that changed.Instead of continuing to feel sad that he couldn't read and spell like his peers, he started to focus on everything he was good at.Put simply, Jesper accepted that he was dyslexic. He couldn't change that anyway.Jesper's journey in overcoming dyslexic have made him stronger and able to help other young dyslexics and their parents overcome dyslexia.Today Jesper has an education and his own business, https://pluslexia.com.
