Educated at the Guernsey Grammar School for Boys until 1965, when his family immigrated to Australia. Phil (as he prefers to be called) started work as a trainee Chartered Accountant, but after 3 years realised this was not for him, and changed to retail sales, reaching the position of Group State Buyer for Homewares with David Jones in Queensland Australia. After a serious car accident at the age of 28 and eight months of treatment and rehabilitation, Phil joined the Royal Australian Air Force and trained as a Motor Mechanic/Diesel Fitter, and retired in 2002 after 25 years service. Phil had always been a skinhead from his late teens, and his military service gave him the squad he had needed to live his chosen lifestyle. He currently is self employed as a tourist coach operator in Cairns on the far north tropical coast. Phil started to write about 6 years ago but this book, ‘Matter of Honour” is his third published work, his first being “A Trip to Hell” and second “Growth of Love”. Phil now lives and works in Cairns with his partner Stephen Linard, a well known fashion designer from the 80’s and early 90’s.view less
