He was drafted into the Army after graduating from ...view moreWilliam Leitzy was born on a farm near Bucyrus in the state of Ohio in 1927 and grew up on the family farm doing farm chores and going to school. He was drafted into the Army after graduating from high school in 1945 and married his wife Lenora in 1948. They milked a sizeable herd of dairy cows for twenty six years before changing into a grain operation. He semi-retired in 1989 before moving to town in 1995.view less
