He became an accomplished woodworker. He has been flying airplanes for sixty years, after obtaining a commercial pilots license along with flight instructor and instrument ratings. He operated a retail drapery interior decorating business for fifty years. He was awarded a Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. The author has achieved great success in winning many first place awards for faceting colored stones, this in competition on a National and International level.view less
