Debbie Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Education, a Master of Performance Studies degree from Bob Jones University, and a Masters of Science degree from Texas A...view moreDebbie Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Education, a Master of Performance Studies degree from Bob Jones University, and a Masters of Science degree from Texas A & M University at Commerce with a double emphasis in School Counseling and Community Counseling. She has also served as an Assistant Professor of Speech and Drama at Grand Rapids Baptist College and Seminary (now Cornerstone University) and as an Adjunct Professor of Drama at Dallas Baptist University. She is currently a School Counselor and has been a volunteer Chaplain at Parkland Hospital. She is a proud member of the Redbud Writer’s Guild. She is a regular contributor at Life Notes: The Café Blog. She has been featured as a Christ-centered poet in Sothern Writers Magazine and has written several articles for them. She has also been featured on numerous blogs. Her passion is to further the kingdom of the Savior through Christian poetry and exalt the name of Jesus Christ, name above all names. Her first book of poetry, Which Church Am I? is a compelling and thought-provoking poetry series challenging both seekers and believers to thoughtfully ponder the modern day church.
