The consulting fir...view moreDonald P. Mackintosh is a Management Consultant with an Egyptology degree. He is president of Brevet International, Inc. which he founded in the early seventies. The consulting firm is noted for it’s innovative development of production control systems.
In addition to traveling extensively Mr. Mackintosh has been behind the Iron Curtain on many occasions. He was in North Korea during the early peace negotiations during the Korean War. He was in East Berlin when the Germans rioted in June of 1953. He has also traveled Hungary, Bulgaria, the Russian zone of occupied Austria and Yugoslavia.
His frequent trips to Egypt have afforded first hand knowledge not only of the specific locations in the book but to research into the premise of the chapters on Egypt. His time spent in El Amarna verify the wadi so necessary to the desert search regarding Akhenaten’s heretofore undiscovered tomb.
The author is now retired after 35 years in the consulting field. He has written several business books most notably MANAGEMENT BY EXCEPTION published by Prentice-Hall. This book is his first book of fiction.view less
