D is an Associate Professor of Theatre Arts in the Department of Creative Arts (Theatre), University of Lagos, Nigeria. She has written and produced six full length plays- Withered Thrust (2006), The Dawn of Full Moon (2008), Giddy Festival (2007) which was first performed under the title Mirth of Wolverian Intent, Adaugo (2011), Daring Destiny (2011) and Shadows on Arrival (Premiered July 2011). Before these, she has written and directed two one-act plays- The Kinibe’s Day and The Champion’s Story. Her published works include Drills and Exercises in English Pronunciation (2001), English for effective communication (2006) and English for Tertiary Institutions with numerous articles in local and internal journals
As a Visiting Senior Fulbright Scholar, Osita spent the 2011/2012 academic year as a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence in the Department of English and Foreign Languages, Winston-Salem State University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27110, USA, teaching the Dramatic Arts from African perspective and developed a Drama curriculum that incorporate African Theatre.view less
