In 1969, as the mother ...view moreMarilyn Reicks grew up in Northeast Iowa, the rural setting for Forever Faithful. At nineteen, without a teaching degree, she taught all grades in a one-room country school. In 1969, as the mother of four children she received her BSE degree from Wartburg College and ten years later her MSE from Drake University. Marilyn taught school in Iowa and Arkansas, where she now lives. She enjoys being with family and friends. Reading and writing have been life-long interests.view less
