She played all sports but ba...view moreRachel E. Naughton was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens, NY. Growing up with five brothers encouraged her to be athletic and very competitive. She played all sports but basketball superseded them all. She pursued her dream of playing High School and Collegiate basketball. With her viable interest in sports, today she volunteers as Head Basketball Coach for one of the nations top girls travel basketball organization.
Limiting her social life as a single mother humbled her. Her son Tariq, was a true gift from God. His laughter and watching him grow exemplified what a gift truly means. Today, she cares for her sister Mary, and instills the same values of life her parents laid for her Living the "Family with God First" motto, Rachel has carried on that legacy from her parents.
