Raised in Brooklyn I lived in a two family home where I lived with my grandma Gloria Hemby my aunt Joanne, my cousin Gloria, my uncle Bruce, and uncle Alvin. My sister lived with us; her name was Demetria (1975-2003). She was the only one in our family to graduate college. At the age of 28 she died of an illness, from that day my beliefs went from question to anger. Wondering why god takes away the good ones and leave someone like my self here to live. I prayed and prayed for her to live but it didn’t work. I wanted someone or something to blame, someone to answer my questions. This all plays a big part in my book. Although its fiction, where do we go, who are we really. I leave this to your imagination. I would like this book to be your tool to look deeper into your own questions, using that part of your mind that can’t be conjured. I started writing this book when I was fifteen. Many versions and types. I began to write this version after the passing of my sister. And I dedicate any success to her whether it be this book or some other project I can get my hands on because when ever I had a crazy idea she was always the positive energy that gave me the courage to try.
