Eileen has been an active community volunteer as President of her...view moreEileen Dierkes grew up in Michigan City, Indiana. She was a clerk-typist in Civil Service during the World War II. Eileen has been an active community volunteer as President of her County Parent Teachers Association, Secretary for the local Hospital Auxiliary, and a member of her regional (multi-county) library board. She was employed for fifteen years as Deputy County Trustee. She married her high school sweetheart, Harry Dierkes, in a Columbus Air Base chapel in Mississippi. Together, in retirement, they enjoyed traveling throughout the “lower 48” states, staying in many State Parks, and visiting most National Parks in the country. They have been enjoying camping in most of the 48 states and National Parks in the country for about 25 years. Eileen resides currently in Arizona.view less
