Her poetry emphasizes the power and passion of femininity. She began creating poetry for her beloved mother as a very young child and eventually began using it to cope after surviving sexual abuse.
This poetess believes in building character and strength by sharing her own past oppressions and fears. However, instead of stressing being once victimized, she uses her experiences to enlighten, encourage and empower. Her uncensored gospel-like poetry flows rhythmically through various rhyming schemes revealing her love of the melodic 90’s hip-hop era. Her candid nature is instrumental to preventing injuries and healing wounds rather than picking scabs. Promoting assertiveness, self-esteem, awareness and unity is her blatant mission.view less
