If she doesn't know the answer, she is relentless in figuring it out. This has lead to works that inspire provocative and debate-worthy conversations. Her ambition and drive is a contagious motivation to those around her. Kelly's superpower is taking a dream and bringing it into reality. Her attention to detail and curiosity result in well-thought plans of action and her dark sense of humor is quick and shameless. Kelly is a gamification enthusiast, education junkie, and believes that gaming is the path to world domination or the apocalypse. Further study is needed.
Originally from the small town of Fremont, Nebraska she is the survivor of extreme culture shock after moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. Things are open after 10 pm and they sell beer on Sundays - it was an emotional time Mitchell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice but never actually entered the field. She ended up owning a collection business specializing in HOA Collections. For those that don't know, HOAs (homeowner's associations) is a world fraught with controversy that she was able to thrive in.
Writing was always the gravity that kept her turbulent world together. Restless in career and life, she found solace in writing and was seduced by the power that the right words can have, decided to become a full-time author. She turned her curiosity to the life around her and found that archaic insanity in processes is prevalent. Mitchell founded Tour of Insanity as a sounding post to provide conversation kindling and get the wheels turning on revisiting how things work.
