in the island of Trinidad and migrated along with her family, to the United
States at an early age. The young poet began writing and using her work as a
diary. She has now decided to share her inner most thoughts with us. Sandy
is currently pursuing a Forensic Science degree with the intent of helping
those who cannot be heard. She has chosen the title “A Walk through Life”
because, she believes “while we’re walking through this journey that we‘re all
traveling we learn the most valuable lessons which somehow prepare us for
the milestones which are yet to come”.view less
