She continued her education by achieving her Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 1998. She graduated from Yeshiva
University with 3.7 average and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2001. Her joy for writing began during her early childhood years. She started writing poetry around the age of 8. Her love for her friends and family has always been genuine and she believes she’s been blessed to have them part of her world. She dedicates her book to her daughter, Denim Anderson, mainly because of the joy she has brought to her world. It is also dedicated to her mother, Suzette Gunthorpe, who has been her role model from the very beginning. Tiona thanks her mother for helping her become the woman she is today (independent, proud, and strong).view less
