art studios, repro-graphics, and documentary photography. Bob has taught photography at the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art. He was also the museum's exhibit curator. During Bob's working days, he has photographed for trade journals, magazines, catalogues, newspapers, and spent twenty two years as chief photographer at Saratoga Raceway in Saratoga Springs, New York and designerIcurator for Saratoga Harness Racing Hall of Fame. Upon retirement, Bob has since moved back to his beginnings, where he has found new enthusiasm in his work, thanks in large part to his loving wife, Linda, for her encouragement to tackle his long awaited personal projects. And this is one.
My good friend, Jack Fleck, was an avid competitive sailor in his youth. He has lived on both coasts most of his life. Jack and his beloved wife, Betty Lou, were married fifty six years. Mrs. Fleck passed away two years ago and we dedicate this book in her memory. Jack was educated at Lehigh University, then served in the USAF with time spent in the Korean
war. This collaboration began when Jack and I met at our church, and as we were getting to know each other we learned
we both have a mutual attraction to the sea and it's beaches. Whereas, I use my visual senses to record, Jack waxes poetically, and in this book he is the voice of the sea as it beckons one and all to walk through these portals and experience all the wonders of nature by the sea in all it's splendor.view less
