He worked for the American Friends Servi...view moreAfter teaching at Dartmouth and Goucher in the 50’s and early 60’s, Allan Brick left the academy to work full-time against the Vietnam War. He worked for the American Friends Service Committee and then the Fellowship of Reconciliation. He resumed college teaching in the early ‘70’s joining the faculty of Hunter College, where he taught British Nineteenth Century literature, anti-war literature, and memoir writing. He has published a book of poems, Growing Pains.view less
