Phyllis resides in S...view morePhyllis A. Hemphill born in Washington DC to Charles and Amanese Hemphill is the third of nine children and enjoys cooking, reading, and inspirational writing. Phyllis resides in Suitland MD and has three children, Lisa, Vernon, and Juanice, ten grandchildren, and four great grand daughters.
Called into the ministry she is an ordained Evangelist and has served as youth leader for several years and participated in numerous women and youth conferences. Retired from the federal government she is continuing to work on other writing projects, starting up an outreach program for seniors and youth, and a catering service.
Her inspiration is “Laboring to bring forth”. “Be in pain and labor to bring forth like and woman in travail”. Micah 4:10 Her motto is: It ain’t nothing but a “Thing”. “All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord according to His call and purpose.” Rom 8:28view less
