I was raised with my...view moreMy name is Willie Bell Ratliff, and I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. I grew up in the low-income housing project on the Southside known as Alton Park. I was raised with my brother by my step-father and step-mother because my mother died giving birth to me. Many people have influenced my life. The most important people are my daughters, Lakisha Ratliff and Toninicia Few. They have been a great source of strength and support to me. Toninicia was graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Psychology and is working on a master’s degree in professional counseling. Lakisha attended Chattanooga State Community College, and now she is working on her degree in criminal justice. I attended college at Zion College and Tennessee State University. I have worked with Hamilton County Schools since the 70’s as a teacher’s assistant and a substitute teacher. Now, I am attending Grand Canyon University pursuing a degree in counseling.view less
