The author is a diplomat of the American College of Family Medicine, holds a PhD in Leadership, Masters in Business Administration, and is a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership and National Speakers Association. He has spoken for companies including Young Life, Rotary International, The American Association for Physician Leadership, and is involved with Narcotics Anonymous.
Dr. Kennedy created and practices motivational medicine and teaches leadership and health and wellness through The Surfer's Journey seminars, private client mentoring and coaching, and university-based courses.
