A Licensed Practical Nurse since 2000, ...view moreMica Burnett is a mother, grandmother, pet mama, and poetry lover. She enjoys nature and finds inspiration in even the most ordinary things. A Licensed Practical Nurse since 2000, she is also a Certified Positive Approach to Care Trainer, helping families and Care Partners of People Living with Dementia. Mica also volunteers as a Community Educator for the Alzheimer's Association. Mica graduated Missouri Southern State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies. She obtained enough Life Credit experience to graduate early and believes in striving for personal growth on a daily basis.
Mica has been publicly speaking for over 20 years in areas of education, healthcare, community awareness, and personality and relationship enhancement.
Passionate about sharing inspiring stories and the reason for her joy, she has often been told she should write a book to expand her reach. After a few long talks with her Heavenly Father, and waking from a dream with a full chapter list, The Message in The Story is her first published book in this effort and she appreciates any prayers you might send for her continued writing. She also authors a blog entitled Hope, Health and Heartfelt on WordPress.
