She is a United Methodist minister, founder and facilitator of numerous support groups and served as a hospital chaplain and minister in several locales. Walters and her husband Tom, have been married sixty-eight years and have three daughters, six grandchildren and one great--grandson. They live in a retirement community in St. Simons Island, Georgia.view less
