Garrett is an award-winning advertising and lifestyle photographer, who has shot for clients that include: Audi, Dodge, The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald's, Neiman Marcus, Google, Westin, The Ritz-Carlton Company, Marriott's Autograph Collection, the states of Georgia and New Mexico, Norwegian Cruise Lines, The Home Depot, Stihl, and Georgia-Pacific. As a travel writer and photographer, his work has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Town and Country, Forbes, Vogue, Private Clubs Magazine, Outside, Boulevard, Entrepreneur, Inc., Atlanta Magazine, Coastal Living, Islands, Southbound, and Virtuoso Life, among others. He co-authored numerous guidebooks, including Fielding's Caribbean for Dummies and Rum & Reggae's Caribbean. His fine art photography has been shown in galleries in New York City, Atlanta and Nashville, and his work hangs in luxury resorts and hotels around the world. A native of rural South Georgia and a graduate of Auburn University, Kevin, who lived in Nashville and New York City, resides in Marietta, Georgia, with his wife Echo Montgomery Garrett, who runs Lucid House Publishing.
