He works for the U.S. Customs Service, which also provided day jobs for Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Pedrazas's first novel, The Harry Chronicles, was the 1995 winner of the Private Eye Writers' of America/St. Martin's First Private Eye Novel Contest.view less
