Nonfiction; I was immediately attracted to this book because it talks about different types of trucks and my fiance is a truck driver. When I read the book however I found it a bit confusing at times. Not all of the descriptions match the pictures shown. For example, it used the term "backhoe" on one page but did not show a picture of what a backhoe looked like. I think it would have been better had the author/illustrator labeled the parts of the trucks and labeled each picture. The main point of this book is that there are various types of trucks with various uses. Students should read it to gain information about the many different types of trucks in the world.read more
