Through the Eyes of Andrew presents a fictionalized account of the disciple Andrew, the first man to follow Jesus, tracing the disciple’s life from the beginning of Christ’s ministry to Andrew’s death. Andrew was content to remain out of the limelight; he preferred to stay in the background, providing inconspicuous service. Yet he was privileged to have been the first called to follow Jesus and the first to lead someone—Simon Peter—to Christ. He walked with Jesus during His earthly ministry.

Andrew’s legacy rests in how he cared for individuals and remained faithful to his vow to bring as many to Christ as he could. There is no historical record of Andrew founding any major churches or even preaching to the multitudes, although he was present when Jesus fed the five thousand and witnessed Him raising the dead to life once again. Though he was not recognized as a renowned public speaker, as Peter was, he accomplished much for the kingdom of God and is the patron saint of Scotland and Russia.

Using the actual people who populated Jesus’s world in those days and the infallible truths of the Word, Through the Eyes of Andrew offers a fascinating glimpse into the life of Christ and his dynamic ministry from the perspective of one whose life was changed forever by his discipleship.
