Mudras, also playfully called the "finger power points", are yoga positions for your hands and fingers. They can be practiced sitting, lying down, standing, or walking. They can be done at any time and place while stuck in traffic, at the office, watching TV, or whenever you have to twiddle your thumbs waiting for something. Hirschi shows you how these techniques can prevent illness, relieve stress, and heal emotional problems.

Gives a nice background on how to use mudras and a good selection for the beginning user. Sometimes the picture and the description don't match or appear to be contradictory. However, in general this book gets it done.more
Excellent assortment of hand positions (mudras) with their health benefits, but it would have been nice to list the benefits along with the name of the mudra. Sometimes, I wasn't really sure what the mudra was helpful with until half-way through the description.more
