About this ebook
The Deluded Primate helps us discover The Truth about ourselves, and understand why we get things so wrong.
What is the goal of life, what is the highest achievement that a person, and hence, the whole human race, can accomplish? Judging by what our history tells us, and by what I hear governments saying today, and they are supposed to represent the views of the majority, it is happiness through material wealth, which, in my humble opinion, not only seems to be missing the point, but is unachievable.
Not that material things aren't beneficial, but as the main goal or aim of life, it does seem to me like we are missing the point and reason for our existence. And not just because seeking material wealth has, and still is, the cause of most of our, and the worlds problems, but because it has been realised by the people we most admire, such as Jesus, and The Buddha, and many other enlightened people throughout the ages, that real and lasting happiness comes from knowing the difference between our beliefs and desires, and The Truth. So maybe it is time for us to redirect our goals a little and seek what we should be seeking.
