Description
Born out of a project of the IUPAC's committee on Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Development, this reference addresses past and current strategies for successful drug analog development, extending the previously published volume by nine new analog classes and eight case studies. Like its precursor, this volume also contains a general section discussing universally applicable strategies for analog discovery and development. Spanning a wide range of therapeutic fields and chemical classes, the two volumes together constitute the first systematic approach to drug analog development.
Of interest to virtually every researcher working in drug discovery and pharmaceutical chemistry.

Too tired is a made up story of Noah's ark. As the flood is coming and all the animals are boarding Noah realizes they are missing the sloths. The sloths being unaware and lazy are too tired and asleep in the tree. Eventually all the animals aboard the ark (minus the cats) helps retrieve the sloths and complete Noah's list. Like many stories containing animals the author takes the opportunity to introduce many new adjectives, verbs, and vocab to students. In this particular book many words such as screeched, bleated, trumpeted, and howled are introduced to the student's vocabulary. This also makes students use context clues and prior knowledge to understand new words.

I thought that this was a cute book and it explained the story of Noah's Ark. It could be nice to read to preferably a catholic school while learning the story of Noah. The students would enjoy the book because it allows for the teacher to make sounds of the different animal noises.

I am not religious, but I am crazy about sloths! I loved that all the animals banded together (except the cats, of course) to help get the apathetic sloths on Noah's Ark. This would be a great read to a young Sunday school class.
