About the book
Hugh E. Scott is a 1956 Texas A&M graduate with a BS in Geology. He worked briefly as a seismologist in Utah, then entered the Air Force, became a Regular officer, completed pilot training and flew KC135s during the Vietnam War. In 1966, he resigned his commission, joined Continental Airlines and eventually flew as a B727 captain. Following Continental’s bankruptcy in 1983, Scott took early retirement, joined Western Airlines as a B737 flight instructor and continued with Delta after it merged with WAL. A lifelong cartoonist, he retired early again in 1993 to create greeting cards and write aviation novels.read more
