About this ebook

Jade is so used to being with and agreeing with Vicky, her larger-than-life best friend, that when a tragic accident occurs, she can hardly believe that Vicky’s gone. But Vicky is a spunky girl who’s not going to let a small thing like death stop her from living life to the fullest. Whether Jade is in school, running, or tentatively trying to make new friends, Vicky makes her presence felt, and it’s not always a good thing.

I only read until the part where Jade refuses to go with Mr. and Mrs. Water at a library, but it is so interesting and I feel like my life won't be complete without this book. I know, I know, It sounds weird, but its not if your me. And I believe in angels!! Thank you for your time.

A novel for children. Jade is being haunted by her irreverent and teasing friend Vicky who has died in a road accident. This book tackles so many issues from guilt and grief to being dominated by teasing friends and having to cope with less than perfect parents. Far more realistic and thought-provoking than the Mallory Towers fare of my youth.

Another typical Jacqueline Wilson, this time about a girl coping with the death of her best friend. Not for the young.
