An Education In Pleasure

Married young to a man hand-picked by her father, Elizabeth Petre is an ideal Victorian lady. She has borne two sons and endured sixteen years of selfless duty in a passionless marriage. Craving a man's loving touch yet loyal to her wedding vows, Elizabeth is determined to seduce her coldly indifferent husband. She knows of only one man who can teach her the erotic secrets of love.

A Lesson In Love

The bastard son of an English countess and an Arab sheik, Ramiel Devington was reared to embrace both Western culture and Eastern pleasure. Scorned by society and challenged by prim Elizabeth's request, he undertakes her instruction in the art of sensual delight. But when the lessons become a temptation neither can resist, Elizabeth is forced to choose between obligation and a bold, forbidden passion. . .

started out boring so not interestedmore
If I could give this 0 stars then I most definitely would.more
I liked this book if I could purchase it I would maybe I actually will, some of the plots were hard to imagine but I loved it more

This old school romance/erotic novel didn't work for me. The characters never stepped out of their stereotypes, the sexual by-play between the hero and heroine seemed overly academic, and the villains were so over the top I couldn't stop the eye rolls.more
A bit slow to start, but otherwise, an engaging historical romance. Nothing fantastical, but an enjoyable, easy read on a Sunday afternoon. I did guess the "plot twist" pretty early on, but it didn't mar my enjoyment of the book.more
I reread this book every so often, so it's definitely in my keeper pile. A very over heated, intensely erotic romance. The ending is a bit off, but the build up of Elizabeth's and Ramiel's relationship is wonderfully taut and full of sexual tension. Not at all realistic, but fun to be in that world for a while.more
