The New York Times bestselling author of Bared to You, Sylvia Day, draws us into the shadows of a seductive underworld where lycans, vampires and angels vie for supremacy…
Elijah Reynolds is the most dominant of lycans, a rare Alpha whose skill on the hunt is surpassed only by his primal sexuality. When the lycans revolt due to the iron fist of angelic rule, he steps into command, becoming both enemy and coveted ally in the conflict between vampires and angels.
Vashti is the second most powerful vampire in the world, a lethal beauty with a path of devastation in her wake. Tasked with proposing an alliance between vampires and the lycans who killed her mate, Vash approaches Elijah, whose need to avenge a friend demands Vash’s death even as his passion demands her surrender.
Soon, their enmity erodes beneath an all-consuming desire. Elijah has never encountered a woman whose warrior spirit and fierce sexual appetite rivals his own, while Vash is faced with the one man strong enough to be her equal. But as war looms, each must decide where their loyalty lies—with their own kind or with the enemy lover they can no longer live without. read more

Reviews for A Hunger So Wild: A Renegade Angels Novel
Listened for Review (Brilliance) Overall Rating: 4.25 Story Rating: 4.00 Character Rating: 4.50

First Thought When Finished: Are you FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?! Holy abrupt ending and cliffhanger. Plus there are only going to be 3 in the series. I am CRUSHED!
Straight from Sylvia's Webpage: A Taste of Seduction-The final installment of the Renegade Angels trilogy.
Story Talk: Paul straightened, raking Elijah with a sweeping glance. “I’ve never seen a lycan shift so fast.” “Betcha never seen a lycan who’s nailing a vampress either,” Vash said. “Syre’s second, no less. It’s a whole new world.”― Sylvia Day, A Hunger So Wild I am going to admit that I marked the book down a bit because of the abrupt ending. I really enjoyed the story but I don't deal well with abrupt/cliffhanger endings. A Hunger So Wild picked up right where A Touch of Crimson left off and continued on the story so very well that I was mesmerized from the beginning. This is my favorite world of Sylvia Day. I think she has built a wonderful world and the overall story arch is really hook worthy. I can't wait to see how it ties all together.
Character Talk: Strong Man: “There was nothing so attractive as a powerful, handsome, and self-assured man.”― Sylvia Day, A Hunger So Wild Strong Woman: “Oh, I’ll fight you,” she promised, her eyes clear of shadows. “That’s the way I roll.”― Sylvia Day, A Hunger So Wild I love the characters in this series. I really fell in love with Elijah in Touch of Crimson and even more so in A Hunger So Wild. I was surprised how much I loved Vash though. She was fun, smart, and conflicted. I loved that Elijah embraced all parts of her! (Not a spoiler this is a romance after all): I was sad when we didn't get to read the ending coupling between them. That was probably smoking hot! You also get to see lots of the other characters from the series. I think it is because I am so in love with the characters that I am sad about there only being 3 books. I am excited about Syre's book being next! He deserves an HEA!
Audio Talk: Narrated by Rachel Vivette/Running Time 9 hours 4 minutes I was concerned when they switched from Luke Daniels but Rachel hit it out of the freaking park. I thought her pacing, tone, emotions, and voices were just spot on. I am not sure if she is doing the 3rd book but I am going to search out more books that she narrates. This was just that good!
Final Thought: Sad there are only going to be 3 in the series. I might have to break down and read the novellas to get my fill!read more
