Meeting by chance, Bob and Beth conversed with each other. Here's an excerpt of what they said--
“I never expected it’s you. In fact, I couldn’t have imagined we’ll meet this way and at this unexpected moment,” Bob opened the conversation. “I was searching for some guests to interview and asked my friend, an executive in this hotel, who are the persons of consequence, their guests, desirous of being portrayed in the media. VIPs, politicians, entertainers, artists, etcetera. All the celebrities I could get,” she responded. “I’m neither of those in your list.” “I know you’d say that,” she chuckled. “Your nature had always been like that.” “Why do you solicit them?” Bob became inquisitive. “I’m a media person now, connected with a local tabloid as feature writer,” she replied. “That’s how you earn a living?” “How would I, do you think?” ......... “I saw your name in the hotel list sandwiched between two celebrities,” she continued. “What an inadvertence,” and for the fist time Bob found a reason to come up with a smile. Appreciating that, the woman commented: “You’ll always retain that handsome image, Bob, if you don’t give up a smile.”
